Victimhood
There's a weird paradox now that victim hood is increasingly in some circles, in some groups, has become a status game. It does seem a kind of adoxical, but there is a sort of sense that victimhood has become a certain status that people want to acquire. And i think partly what's going on here is that people are reaffirming the kind of story that their tribe tells about the world.
