Having communities is a big help, because then you'd have people who would champion your work or amplify and broaden the reach of your stories. i think that such communities do not necessarily be exclusive only to journalists. You can have environmental activists in that community, fellow environmental defenders, other community organizers, who can also help champion the work that you do. Nog for oltis reason is they help provide support to journalists who are covering one of the toughest subjects in the world.
