How Did You Decide to Strike Out on This Career?

When I was a young boy, there were two things that happened. My father, when he was 40, decided to do a PhD. And at the same time, I had a very, very strict English teacher who would make us stand up to attention and taught us really by the methods of the 19th century. So from that point, I was really became kind of confused, I guess, that I thought that language was what adults dealt with. Of course, I know now that they actually deal with money, but that I sort of became really obsessed with language and how it works out.
