What Are Non-Fungible Tokens?

Non-fungible assets are unique and can't be readily substituted or substituted at all, something else. A classic example would be a piece of art, such as the Mona Lisa. When we talk about non-fungibles tokens, we're talking about tokens which exist on the blockchain in the same way as Bitcoin.
