Lung Transplantation in Patients With Fibrotic Fibrosis

When we think about very sick patients with fibrotic lung diseases, whether it's IPF or PPF, we think of sort of advanced care planning and then the potential for lung transplantation in these patients. Can you just speak a little bit about that and what sort of patient might be a candidate for that procedure and what are some contraindications? Sure. Dr. ILD position is to keep the patient from needing a transplant for as long as possible. But we want to make sure that they're ready to go when they need it. And likewise, subset of patients with PPF certainly will be transplant candidates.
