Syria - Is America on the Wrong Side?

Erdogan had a deal worked out with Assad in the 90s to mutually suppress the Kurds. He dragged his feet on doing that when America first pushed him and said look at because as you recall President Obama didn't want to be taking the lead in Syria, he said we'll lead from behind. Now Turkey came around to thinking you know Assad is going to fall and then they kind of worked out a very cold piece. There's I mean even before the Ukraine war though there seems to be that I can't say I fully grasp it's it's a it's I guess the best way to put it.
