A new study found that bird numbers for one species collapsed in zones nearest to wind farms. The Red Throated Loon has a long and beautiful history weaved into the stories of the Vikings, Ireland and Scotland. Those same areas are also where 14 wind farms have been built over the past 15 years or so.
