stills formed a trio with his friend john hopkins and a banjo player called peter talk, who everyone said looked just like stills. Judy collins would soon become a very important figure in still's life, but for now she was just the singer on his favourite record. And then stills got head hunterd to join the ogogo singers. This was a group that was being set up in the same style as the new christi minstrels,. A nine piece vocal and instrumental group that would do clean sounding versions of covently popular folk songs.
