Does God Suffer With Us?

When the human face turns to god, god does not turn away. The dominant koranic theme is that god's mercy or wrath is given to human beings. God may forgive every person in the end in response to the atom's worth of faith. But the dominant discourse is the command to do right, to do good deeds.
