The New Office of Ecclesiastical Doctor
The only record of his addressing the subject is found in a diary entry in 1960 when he spoke on a panel of the North Pennsylvania Ministerial Association. Klein serving on the committee on foreign missions of the OPC literally submitted a minority report to the 31st General Assembly regarding a proposal to establish a medical hospital in Eritrea. He wonders if we're going to have these doctors in the mission, what do we call them? Well perhaps deacons. But then he says that won't work.
