The Null Field and the Invictus

The null field is pretty much completely disappeared now which makes me continue to think that the null field was a protective design in a way. Could the expanding null field be a timer of sorts for when the vault is to activate or when it's ready because harry had this thing down to a math when he wakes up in the form in the previous episode he says the foundation should be facing its first crisis right about now.
