Is There a Meritocracy?

i do think that we could have a discussion about growing up in a society that you say is a meritocracy, but it's not actually a maritocracy. We've started to replace merit and value with measurement because it's easy. It's hard for people to get to know every student. And at the end of the day, when i apply for something, they're going to look at my resume,. They 're looking at my scholarships, ore gong toLook at my nteer er situations, and they're going to say, screw the sky. That is the world that i live in.
