How Did the Early Franks Differentiate From Other Germanic Tribes?

The early franks area very much considered a distinct people, and they could presumably be differentiated in multiple different ways. When it comes to a material culture, it's very difficult to archaeologically distinguish any sort of distinct frankish identity before we had into the into the meravingian period. So we knowwe really need to be not quite critical when when engaging with all this evidence, and certainly not take or any of it at at face value. Right?
