If you've got a bit more space than we have, I would dig a second pond once your first pond starts to close in. You need the shallows. And of course, that's the first part of the pond that fills up with plants. What gets in first tends to house everything else. So it's obviously ponds are very useful things to have in a wildlife garden. But also you mentioned your gardens quite small. Is there a minimum size that you can have if you want to wildlife garden?
