The Effects of Disruption on Behavior in Schools
An organisation called TeacherTap asks thousands of teachers every day for their responses to various questions and they're therefore able to track changes over time. They have seen an increase in teachers saying behavior in their classes is a real problem for them in different ways. Not a massive increase, but definitely an upward tick after many years where behavior had been improving due to some schools putting a lot of effort into it. And again, I think that could be linked directly to absenteeism in that if children are struggling with curriculum because they haven't been in class, they're more likely to get disengaged play up, behave badly.
