Is There a Parallel Between the GMO Debate and the Climate Debate?
There is a sense that western countries are imposing their own priorities on poor countries. I see some parallels between the the g m o debate and the, eh, the climate debate. African countries can benefit enormously from food technology and from seed technology. And i think it's a great pity that we have reached a point where it's almost impossible to talk about the role of biotechnology because of the fear of sanctions from european countries.
