In 1805 women wore false pantalettes, which were leg warmers with tapes attaching them up to your waist. The bloomer trend appeared in fashion magazines as early as 1805 but didn't really catch on for a while. These are little pants that would peep out from under your dress. They did eventually catch on and became something that just little girls would wear.
