Berlin Philharmonic maestro Lydia Ehrlich is the subject of a new film, " tar on tar" The movie follows her as she tries to get back into music after being rejected by conductors and ensemble leaders. She calls herself a U-Haul lesbian but has also had an affair with another young prodigy who ended up committing suicide. It's like Herzog, Ravalstein, Henderson the Rain, says director Tom Charity.
