What Do You Think About Jesu's Teaching?

In the first eight chapters of mark, jesus is in galilee, teaching and healing. He did not say anything to them without using a parable. But when he was alone with his own disciples, he explained everything. The disciples had the disadvantage of being with jesus and having these parables explained to them so they should have been tracking with what jesus was teaching.
