Every night on the news, we see the crisis in the NHS reported as if it were an act of God or a severe weather event. It feels like there's zero accountability from this highly paid management class for an institution which soaks up north of £150 billion of taxpayers' money every year. Even they are starting to say, you know, if we had a small charge for attending A&E, it could reduce the demand by 20%. And then they are done by 20% of my colleagues said, who was always previously very left-wing free at the point of service.
