The Power of the Poets

There's such a power in using the written word, and it can garner so much attention. Poets at this period, particularly in europe, kind of occupy the space culturally like an instagrim or a youtube starlike occupies now. They have these legions of utterly devoted fan like a pop star. And i think it's just fascinating to see it back then as well.
