Is There a Strike in the Penal Code?
LZ Granderson: The idea that everyone who's eligible for a strike will receive a strike if arrested in charge with the sort of conduct that if pursued to the full extent of the law would result in that is just very, very unlikely. He says recidivism rates are well over 50% for every single age group they track except for 65 and over. LZ: We clearly have to do more to incapacitate people who are posing a real risk to their communities.
