Andd the other point of analogy is there's a lot of writing in constitutinal law about how you reconcile the patentlyanti democratic features of the supreme court with american democratic tradition. But it should make us uneasy a little bit. Should we take a rake and talk about whether all this was really necessary? Absolutely.
