The Role of Grooming in Sexual Abuse

A lot of women, some of those early experiences as a young girl were introduced to pornography or maybe they went through some sexual experiences that if you ask them like, did you have choice? Did you give consent or was there an awkward or a weird moment that began to happen to you? Well, all of that is setting a sexual template where you might feel some level of arousal or desire with regard to an experience with someone, but then you're also feeling shame in that same experience. And so what we want to do is to kind of say like, how is the fantasy? How is the broken behavior a clue with regard to the redemption that God wants to bring to our life?
