In a study using two groups, he gave participants a description of a person, a character. The first character was described as envious, stubborn, critical, impulsive, industrious and intelligent. The second character was said to be intelligent, industrious,impulsive, critical, stubborn and envious. Theyare just reversed in each re if we had perfect rationality, there would be absolutely no difference in how we rated these two characters.
