The Importance of Dice

In 1979, you would have a six sided die lying around the house or maybe your dad shoots craps. As longtime players, we're more comfortable with them and we glad center dice and know which die we need. The combat system is emblematic of how tunnels and trolls sort of reduces the overhead for rules and stuff. Each weapon has a certain number of dice that you roll. So if I roll a 15 and you roll a 12, I do three points of damage. If you have armor and it reduces your damage by one, you take two points ofdamage. It's all in one roll and it's just easy and like super straightforward.
