We have more children than a lot of other primates, but we're definitely in the upper part of the distribution. We do way more care for our non-children than any other primate group. Israel has really generous family policies and they actively support IVF for older women. Alloparenting is the human evolutionary norm. If everyone in Israel was a secular Jew, they would have replaced their fertility.
