I think economism in a sense is still a problem today. The same error focusing on the economic struggle above and against all other struggles actually is still playing itself out in the US left. It's refreshing to see it coming back to the world. But without Marxism as a guiding theory, we're going to be forced back to hegemonic bourgeois ideologies which can only be resolved through adequate party reforms.
