The Premier League's Highest Goals Per Game Rate
We're on course for the highest goals per game of the Premier League era. 2.84 is just a smudging higher than last year, 2.82. It's roughly a lot of the roughly up 0.1 a game from five or she years ago. So that's one goal every 10 games. And I wonder how much of that is to deal with these goals we see from teams just playing out from the back and losing it. But it is mad really how much we accept those goals now.
