The Indigenous Voices of Australia

Qantas has changed the way it welcomes people to Australia. They now say 'we want to pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging' But why do we have this weird division between those who are indigenous and non-indigenous? We're in a culture which if you're an indigenous person or you understand indigenous culture, there's this key role that elders play. And I'm going to read to you actually a definition of what is an elder in the indigenous community.
