Xiaomi Zigbee Door Sensors for Home Assistant
Zigbee door sensors can trigger a status update because you can actually see the magnet inside the electronics. If you put a wire either side of that magnet you can complete the circuit essentially. And then I can use the device class in home assistant to say door is locked or unlocked. Or we leave, make sure all the doors are locked. It's a way for home assistant to know this door is unlocked.
