How to Choose the Right Peaks for Your Training in 2023
You can only peak two or three times a year. That's how human physiology works. We need to periodize our work towards a peak. Then after we come off that peak, the body has a natural recovery period where you will detrain so that you can retrain to a higher place. So find those races that excite you in the distances that you need in 2023. And then step five is then we got a sequence. Sequence the work and sequence the races.
