The Importance of Paying Attention to Marx's Language

Jack Derrida spent a lot of time at Hopkins during the late 1960s, early 1970s. He was very influential in the comparative literature program. One of the things he taught me was to pay very careful attention to Marx's language. What he says and how he says it and what he means is terribly important.
