The Role of Women in the Bible

In the English standard version of the Bible, every other incident except for one is translated as a monk. And it's only when we get to Junia that suddenly it becomes she's outstanding too. It seems to be it's very deliberate because it downgrades women's status. When we think of Martha Bethany, we think of the woman who is busy cleaning house and wants her sister to help her. But there's no biblical evidence that that's what she's doing.
