Is There a Null Hypothesis in Physics?
Micholson was a smart person, one of the greatest physicists of all time. He couldn't conceive of discoveries in his own field of expertise that were about to change the course of physics completely. It doesn't matter how brilliant you are, even within your own field, it is very difficult for you to predict what's going to happen next. And anyone who pretends to know what's going on in the future so called futurists - they're predicting global catastrophes. They think that they can predict he knowledge yet to be created. This is pure prophecy. It's pessimism. It's false.
