Is There a Connection Between Comedy and Spirituality?
i think there's a lot of similarities, maybe in the work that you do. Life is a mixture of sacred moments and dick jokes at the same time. You can't go to the comedy club and be too sacred,. nor can you go to the sacred place and be too crass. And i understand both those contexts. I just think when we're in either one, we wish it was a little bit more. A real, a deep wisdom in a spiritual practice is out learning that all of yourself is beloved and giving grace to all of that. It's hard to live a lie. Like, i just don't think the goal of your spiritual journey is to become a better person
