Irish traditional music has probably never been in a stronger place than it is to day. It's become widely recognized as an artfo in a lot of ways. My instrument is an instrument called the illan pipes, which is the irish bagpipes. A unesco recognized a illan piping indigenous art form as part of the intangible cultural heritage of the world last year.
