A Knight in the Middle Ages
We wanted to lean into the idea of a knight errant, and what would that look like in the middle ages. And so they probably would be more like renaissance people, but we just put them about a hundred and 50 years early. So i guess is that tha way to help provide a bridge for the reader? I think it's really important. Because after all, boyd and i are writing fiction. We're not writing a non fiction book about something that really happened to a real person. But also, as boyd mentioned, there were so many confines in mediaeval society that i think it would be hard for us to understand.
