i agree with you, i don't think what we face is a problem that has a solution. I think we face a predicament that has a million different responses. What we need to do right now,. more urgent than anything, more urgent than renewable energy, is build social networks where we live with people who might not normally agree with us. We get distracted by the social media algorithms and the polarization that people are directing us to but deep down, we care about the same things. And so in our genome, we have both selfishness and co operative group attributes. Our culture high lights the self interested individual and actually promotes it.
