The Redness of the Universe
If subatomic particles have no experience whatsoever, but the entire universe is made up of these things, then you have a bit of a composition problem. And we're still just sort of talking about material, just atoms sort of colliding and whatnot. But somewhere along this picture between the subatomic particle and the human brain, there just begins to exist. This absolutely unique feature of the universe, which is something like redness. You would find red if you cut open someone's brain and looked at it while they were staring upon a red apple. We know that redness exists perhaps more than we know that the sun exists.
