The Trouble With My Anonymity
I think it depends on the artist I think the troubling stuff is definitely for me that's leaning into acceptance of like who I am because I feel like I am so conflicted with my feelings if something makes me uncomfortable I'm very drawn to that. With Rothko there's just this meditative calmness and his pieces of just a square that's just like floating so beautifully and it's so simple but it still brings up so many feelings. Nine times out of ten I'm thinking about what my day is going to be like what time my dog is going to come back from her dog camp are I going to make her anything to eat or is she going to eat kibble?
