If your opponent cannot look at you or face you, they are very inhibited in their ability to attack or defend. Back mount is probably the most obvious example of a dominant angle. If you're in someone's open guard, angles are going to be very important. A finding these dominant angles and and redirecting your opponent's hips, usually by using their legs as a lever, is going to open up guard passing opportunities"
