Dogs Are in Nous

Dogs are in nous. Their bodies do not deceive, even if they sometimes cajole or trick us. So considering this ingenuousness and the fact that dogs don't speak, what is say about dogs? I guess, honesty or decency. Does it suggest that we should all strive to be a little bit more doglike? I do think they are fundamentally decent. It's the perfect word to describe dogs. And not only that, but the unrelentingly cheerful in the face of non cheery situations - right? i do try to model myself on that behaviour,. Or at least nudge myself in that direction and tone down the sceptical, crumpy part of myself...
