UK Exports to the EU in 2021
The UK's trade with the EU is compared to its trade with non-EU countries. We see an initial drop at the start of 2021 during the period when firms were trying to understand what the new relationship meant. But then EU exports bounced back to roughly the same level as non-EU exports. I suppose that's consistent with the idea that UK businesses are willing to jump through whatever hoops they have to jump through in order to export to the EU.
