Is There a Plant Spirit in Holotubic Breath Work?

In the andes of peru, it's not as common that people work with plants in that way, plant spirit medicine. But they believe that the mountains have spirit. They call them apus. And so though they'll go up to the mountains and they'll do offerings, they'll give thanks to the four directions - but there is a sense of stillness when you're high enough. You don't even hear a birdll you hear is may be wind. There's this silence there. At least for me, there's this sense ofi death is very near.
