The First Crowdfunding Round of a Community Company Share
It took us nine months to raise our pre seat round, which was a couple hundred thousand dollars. The first investor we met who didn't tell us our idea was stupid was Alexis O'Hanean of like all people who obviously understands community. It's especially hard when you don't have an existing network or track record and your third VC back company it's your first one. Getting the first $100,000 was 10 times harder than getting the second $10 million - makes no sense but also does.
