I've spent quite a bit of time in different parts of the world, but I don't really know what the public thinks in many of those places. Usually if I'm somewhere else, I'm in a biological bubble talking to biological colleagues and we have a common set of assumptions and knowledge about this stuff. Maybe our listeners will have some better sense of that than I do. One thing that I do know is different is that creationism and explicit opposition to evolution is much bigger in the US than it is in Australia.
