Is This an Attempt to Get at End to End Incription?
The draft law would require companies to detect and mitigate against forms of content that might in the future lead to potential child sexual abuse. The technology for this is really unproven and probably quite dubious from a technical perspective. And then there's another provision about what are called grooming messages. This is actually, you know, the most controversial and really the part of the draft that has the biggest implications for entand incription. It seems to me to most clearly implicate texts, so not just images, notchus, vidios and other things that are shared viaaps,. But the content of messages themselves, in a direct user to use her way.
