How to Regulate Corporate Pricing Behavior

There's nothing the Bank of Canada can do directly about corporate pricing behavior. We don't have an insight as to how companies raise prices. But we do know when there are fewer players in a market, they have more market share and they're more able to set prices. The smaller players will get ticked off. That's where the bank repsties happen. And that means that the bigger players take over even more market share.
