The Importance of Writing for an Audience

I don't think your book really is oriented towards that group of people, even if you say it is. I'd be surprised if you just took all the responses to the book and all the effect of the book. There are different kinds of people who could get different practical advantage from it. If you first just think about what's true and then think about who might get an advantage from it, you might well make a mistake of making the format and style and marketing of it. But isn't it still a valid thing to be doing to produce truths that are practically useful by someone?
